Shamin Iqbal, Founder, Interview Corp

Like most people interviewing has been a part of my life from being interviewed for a place at university to successfully beating off competition in the legal profession to changing direction to a completely new career. On a personal level, I have never failed at an interview and until I became involved in the Headhunting business, I assumed being successful at interviews was as natural for others as it was for me. As a Head hunter I was placing highly sought after individuals into senior positions, so I was surprised that some of the most competent, capable and experienced individuals would on occasion struggle with performing well at interviews. I therefore developed a system to ensure that my candidates could be successful with ease and I personally carried them through first, second, third interviews right through to negotiating the package. As a Head hunter I was the first person to interview my candidate and in a key position to see for myself how the candidate was likely to performed at an interview and from this position to prepare the candidate to excel at the interview with confidence leaving a lasting impression. The results were astounding! These tools became vital to my candidates since it takes just one bad interview to knock confidence and lack of self belief can easily creep in leading to bad performance and poor results.

At Interview Corp we believe in providing an outstanding service to our clients. We do this by following a thorough process where we take the time to understand our client’s needs and develop a plan suited to each individual client. This requires listening and understanding the skills required to succeed at the interview and developing a strategy for success. We will conduct an initial interview to assess the weaknesses and strengths and help to create a compelling story of your success.
